Born from our #Race Tested turbo shields we have combined that formula with our exclusive Rug Gold technology. Heatshield Products Gold Turbo Heat Shield is textile based and reduces under hood temperatures far greater than a metal turbo heat shield. All metal heat shields conduct heat from the hot side metal to the cold side metal. Radiating heat into your engine bay. The Heatshield Products Gold Turbo Heat Shield creates a "thermal break" from the turbine, offering a cooler cold side temperature. This reduces under hood temperatures far greater than a metal turbo heat shield. In addition to lowering under hood temperatures it also increases the exhaust gas temperatures. Higher EGT's allow the turbine wheel to spin faster. The retained heat also keeps the turbo spooled up, this is extremely helpful when pedaling down the track or launching quicker out of a corner.
