This is the McNally Dual Valve Oil Separating Catch Can for the GM Silverados and Sierras 5.3L, 6.2L, 4.3L Ecotech engines. This is arguably the best dual valve oil catch can on the market. McNally has solved a huge problem plaguing most of the oil catch cans on the market currently. They only remove oil laden vapor during idle and not during acceleration when your GDI engine produces the most blow-by vapor. The reason for a true dual valve can is a secondary vacuum source because without vacuum a catch can does almost nothing. The three high quality AN fittings on top mean you have one line coming in and two lines going out. This ensures the recycled air is returned to the crank case and foul vapors are evacuated from idle to wide open throttle. This system also comes with the most efficient and reliable clean side separators available. Open air breathers just make a mess and create funky odors in the cabin. The McNally clean side separator replaces your factory oil fill cap allowing the crank case to breathe more efficiently. It also alleviates air flow restriction during evacuation cycles.
