1955-1957 Chevy Chrome Power Brake Conversion Kit Disc/Drum 8'' Dual Diaphragm w/ Proportioning Valve Updating your braking system could not be easier with these bolt in booster/master cylinder assemblies. Engineered specifically for the Tri-5 Chevy's these assemblies will get your classic stopping on a dime. It has a chrome 8" dual diaphragm booster and a chrome dual reservoir master cylinder with a chrome proportioning valve and stainless lines. It will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy model. Use this booster when adding power brakes to a vehicle with a disc/drum braking system. Modification of the brake lines will be necessary when installing this unit. Note: The pushrod on these boosters will require the hole in the brake pedal arm to be relocated for proper operation. Power boosters require a minimun 17" of vacuum to function properly.
