Designed to exceed the rugged environment, Morgan air brake tanks store air for the braking system found on trucks and trailers. The 12.0" diameter tank is manufactured with high strength steel on both the tank heads and shell. The steel formed mounting brackets and flanges are MIG welded to the tank for structural durability. Morgan air brake tanks provide compliance evaluation to UL-1450, 746C, 2004 and CSA C22.2 68-95. They are manufactured and design process certified to ISO 9001:2008. Morgan tanks are subjected to cycle durability tests at varying pressures and loads with regard to ASME pressure vessels. Each tank exceeds all minimum requirements set forth by the SAE J10 standards and FMVSS 121 DOT standards of performance.
