Brand New Currie Enterprises 9" Ford 54" Rear End with 31 Spline Axles with Currie 11" Drum Brake Kit, Parking Brake Cable Kit, and Brake Line Kit (Part # UHR54INX-K1) > These are ideal for Street Rods, Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Restorations, and numerous other projects
Includes | Currie 9-Plus Round-Back Rear End with 31 Spline Axles (Currie # CE-UHR54INX) > 9-Plus roundback housing > 31 Spline performance axle package | 54" Overall width > 54" is measured outside-of-axle-flange to outside-of-axle-flange, in other words, where the wheel bolts on to where the wheel bolts on > These rear ends are also available in lengths of 53", 55", 56", 57", 58", 59", 60", and 61" > Housing is built housing-centered with a 0.94" pinion offset
Steel 3" diameter tubes > Small webbed-style center easily accepts triangulated 4-link brackets > These are 9" Ford center sections, so they do require a 9" Ford 3rd Member (sometimes referred to as a Chunk); if you don't currently have one, we do offer them in several ratios
Axles include: Both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" wheel bolt patterns Includes one set of 7/16" studs and one set of 1/2" studs 1/4" Thick heavy-duty bearing retainer plates Tapered Timken style wheel bearings pressed on The Axle flanges on this rear end are the Big Bearing Ford (New Style), also known as "Torino", which fit the Currie drums perfectly Currie 11" Hydraulic Drum Brake Kit (Currie Part # CE-6005AD)
Brake Kit includes > 11" Hydraulic Drums Both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" wheel bolt patterns > 2 1/4" x 11" 2.80" Center Register Hole > Includes Cable Operated Parking Brake Mechanisms|Parking Brake Cable Kit > Connects to the Currie Parking Brake Assemblies, then comes together to join the stock cable behind the transmission | Hard Line Kit > Steel hard brake line tubing to connect the Currie drums to the included rubber hose Rubber hose connects those hard lines to the line on the frame
