Important Note

This fan clutch is manufactured and assembled in South Korea for specific applications and specific cooling requirements as it has been designed to meet or exceed the performance of the original equipment manufacturers' counter parts. It is crucial to install the correct fan clutch, so please check the fan clutch and its compatibility before installation.

Having the fan clutch stored will have the fluid within the clutch to settle and it will spin freely before installation. Once installed, the initial ignition may produce slow fan speeds for about a minute or two depending on engine speeds. There may also be rattling sounds caused by the valve and the partition plate hitting each other. This is a normal characteristic of the Fan Clutch. As time goes by, inside, a layer of silicon oil and lubricants will apply itself which will result in the fan clutch to go into a freewheeling mode of operation as it is commanded by the ECM which will normalize fan speed and the rattling will subside.

Please, DO NOT return the Fan Clutch for noisy operation unless there is a trouble code fault caused by the Fan Clutch operation or its function.

This Fan Clutch comes with a 12 months or 12,000 mile limited warranty whichever occurs first. This warranty is limited to the replacement of a defective product only.
