BLK251 Brake distribution valve. This includes the valve and mounting bracket. This mounts below the master cylinder on all drum and disc brake cars. For use on 1970-71 E-body & 71 B-body Mopar with either disc or drum brakes. If your Mopar had drum brakes you had this valve. The second valve (BLK252) was used in junction with the distribution block on factory disc brake cars. So the valve on the right angle silver bracket was only on only disc brake cars. Your car may only have one valve for drum brakes and two valves for disc brakes, see BLK252 for more info. For the first time available Mopar distribution valve. This is the valve that was on your mopar below the master cylinder. The valve meters pressure between the front and rear brakes and if the pressure drops it trips the valve and sends current to the brake light in the dash to let you know somethigis wrong. No core is required this is a brand new Inline tube reproduction. This valve is an exact reproduction featuring a brass body, the correct bracket, and working insides. You will also find with current manufacturing procedures, the reproduction has no tool stamping marks and the edges of the part are much cleaner than the original. Making this a concourse level part. The valve is blank so you can stamp what ever date code in to it you like.
