Car Battery Tester: Expanded measurement range from 100-2000 CCA for 12V&24V auto batteries. Checks batteries (via CCA,BCI,CA,MCA,JIS,DIN,IEC,EN,SAE,GB), alternator output. Analyzes the battery healthy status to calculate the actual cold cranking capability of the battery and the aging status.
Can determine bad cells on cars, boats and most 12V-24 Vregular flooded, AGM flat plate ,AGM spiral, gel and deep cycle batteries(with a starting rating).
Supports car cranking test and alternator charging system tester, to provide you with accurate test results and to tell you the problems and hidden dangers.
Car Cranking Test Tool: Displays the decision on the starter system, cranking voltage, and cranking time in milliseconds. For an in-vehicle test, the display alternates between the test results and the message. Press ENTER for charging test.
Car Charging System Test: Checks 12V or 24V charging system to make sure the output voltage of the generator is normal, the rectifier diode works correctly and the charging current is normal.

Important:
1. The BT705 can't test 6V battery! 2. Do not connect the tester to a voltage source greater than 30VDC; otherwise you may damage the tester.
3. If you are testing inside a vehicle, make sure all accessory loads are cut off, the key is not in the ON position and the doors are closed.
4. Before starting the cranking test, inspect the alternator drive belt. A belt that is glazed or worn, or lacks the proper tension, will prevent the engine from achieving the rpm levels needed for the test.
