AISIN Power Back Door Actuators are the Original Equipment units, not imitation replacements. Their function is to provide for opening and closing of the rear power door by remote operation. These actuator assemblies are manufactured using downsized drive units that are contained in the rear pillar of the vehicle, a space saving feature. The AISIN Power Back Door Actuators feature an Auto-Reverse safety function, if they are obstructed during operation they will automatically reverse direction.
