These are intended for use in stock/factory cam phaser applications. Some of the newer aftermarket cam phasers are made differently and will not accomodate these locks. These cam locks are made to fit with very tight tolerances. It will fit a factory new Ford phaser but they do not fit all aftermarket phasers. They are machined to tight tolerances to eliminate chatter and in extreme cases, the Locks may need the edges filed a bit for clearance.
