Our NR Performance Ceramic Internal Combustion Engine Pistons are intended for Off-Road Use Only and are manufactured from our proprietary ceramic material. They are drop in replacements for a 0.020" over 3.1 liter "high compression" Chevrolet engine block. They weigh 10% less than the stock pistons and will fit standard Metal piston rings -0.020" over- from Hastings (not included). Before installation, the block will have to be bored and honed using a torque plate to the supplied specifications, since running clearances are significantly reduced. NIAMA-REISSER, LLC is the only company in the world which designs and manufactures series and prototype pistons from billet ceramic material.
