This Heavy Metal suspension kit is designed to provide a 2 inch rear lift for the 1998 - 2012 Ford Ranger XL and XLT (2WD 4WD). Our shackles are designed to lift your truck 2 inches over stock with the added benefit of improving pinion angle. Our shackles were engineered to provide an accurate and comfortable lift. These shackles were crafted from high strength carbon steel and welded together through computerized processes to ensure accuracy and safety. While ride quality may stiffen under high speeds, the kit should not impact the stock comforts under normal use. Heavy Metal Suspensions products are the safest way to lift your vehicle without compromising ride quality. There are no special tools required or any complicated installation instructions for this product. Once the kit is installed, we do recommend getting an alignment to maintain your ride quality. IMPORTANT: If purchasing spacers, their thickness is not equal to lift amount due to compound ratios that changes the suspension's geometry. Your factory shocks can be reused, but we do recommend an alignment after installation
