Shock Absorber:
A shock absorber is a mechanical device designed to smooth out or damp shock impulse, and convert kinetic energy to another form of energy. It is used in conjunction with cushions and springs. An automobile shock absorber contains spring-loaded check valves and orifices to control the flow of oil through an internal piston.
One design consideration, when designing or choosing a shock absorber, is where that energy will go. In most shock absorbers, energy is converted to heat inside the viscous fluid. In hydraulic cylinders, the hydraulic fluid heats up, while in air cylinders, the hot air is usually exhausted to the atmosphere. In other types of shock absorbers, such as electromagnetic types, the dissipated energy can be stored and used later. Shock absorbers help cushion vehicles on uneven roads.

Lowering Spring:
The chassis of a street vehicle is designed to be built at a minimum cost; thus, suits only average drivers. As tuners we are anything but average. We know what we want from a vehicle. We want immediate response, reduced body roll, increased stability and enhanced cornering ability. Lowering springs are the basis of achieving those characteristics in our street machines. By lowering the center of gravity, a vehicle will be able to turn harder while reducing body roll. A lower ride height also gives the vehicle a more aggressive look.
