Simplify your retrofit by using our pre-built Onyx fixtures! This is our recommended Onyx set-up for a standard 90g (48" x 18" x 25") mixed reef tank (will also work on 75g tanks). This is our dimmable Onyx fixture and has 3 separate channels of control: royal blue, cool white, and mixed (red, UV, green) colors. A 0-10V controller (ie. Apex, Reef Keeper w/ ALC, Analog Reef Angel) or 10V adapter + potentiometers will be required to control dimming. If no dimming accessories/controllers are connected the unit will simply turn on at 100% intensity. This unit requires 3 mono plugs/wires for dimming, one per channel/color. Please don't forget to include a wiring harness to connect the unit to your controller. The ONYX has a built-in fan, anodized heatsink, rubberized cover, and 28 awesome LEDs in the following ratio for a wide spectrum and beautiful ~18k color temperature: 14 CREE XT-E Royal Blue 8 CREE XP-G Cool White 4 SemiLEDs Violet UV 1 CREE XP-E Green 1 Oslon 660nm Red The ONYX has comparable, if not higher, PAR than an AI SOL and a broader color spectrum. ONYX is built to last, looks great, will grow just about any type of coral you put underneath it, and the hanging kit won't cost you anything extra (included for free). This unit has been tested and certified as Apex Ready by Neptune.
