It is important to know that your car is in top condition. Generally, the brake fluid should be checked regularly and changed every one to two years. Due to the water seeps into the brake system through the brake hoses and seals and will let the brake fluid contaminated, and the danger of brake failure will increase.

Read for Brake Fluid Test: Unscrew the lid of the brake fluid reservoir, and take off the cap of the brake fluid tester. Dip the test probes into the brake fluid up to the plastic rim of the device
To Check Fluid Quality: Press the top button for power on, the green LED lamp will light up; Insert the tester into reservoir for one second, and then the test result will be correctly indicated by LED lamps (The tester will automatically power off after 12seconds of inactivity);After testing, remember to tightly screw the lid of the brake fluid reservoir.

The included LED lights will indicate the percentage of water in the brake fluid:
Green: Brake fluid is ok/Battery is OK, i.e.: no water content in the brake fluid
Green/Yellow: Less than 1% of water content in brake fluid
Green/Yellow/Yellow: Approx.2% of water content in brake fluid
Green/Yellow/Yellow/Red: Approx. 3% of water content in brake fluid (The brake fluid should be changed)
Green/Yellow/Yellow/Red/Red: At least 4% of water content in brake fluid (The brake fluid must be changed urgently, extreme danger!)
Note: the data on above list is just a reference for you

Note:

It may be time to change a new battery if the green LED lamp not light up any longer after you press the top button for power on
Wash the test probes with tap water after use
Once your skin contacts with brake fluid, thoroughly wash the affected skin or clothing with water
Do not expose brake fluid to the atmosphere for a long time because it is highly hygroscopic
