Eastwood's DeKote Paint and Powder Stripper contains no Methylene Chloride and will safely and effectively remove urethane, epoxy and powder coatings. DeKote will not harm steel, aluminum, pot metal, die cast, fiberglass or SMC panels. The longer dwell time of 30 minutes to 3 hours, means it does not work as fast as Methylene Chloride based strippers, it provides time for DeKote to penetrate multiple coats and deeper. Easy to apply by immersing or brushing on the surface. NOTE: DeKote may have difficulty removing powder from cast parts.
