This 3157 LED bulb is powered by 48 pieces 3014 type SMD LED emitters plus a special designed reflector mirror (aka diffusion mirror) in front of the LED. This mirror will project the light directly to the stock lamp's reflector, then comes out much brighter.

Also because of this reflector mirror, it will have a much better beam pattern with a cut-off line look comparing with most conventional LED bulbs.
