This is a new Ring and Pinion set for the TRX300 2x4 and TRX300FW 4x4 Fourtrax Rear 1988-2000. We have also included the special tool needed to remove the special nut off the pinion. This ring and pinion is constructed of 20CrMo alloy steel. This steel is the same grade Honda uses on its OEM gears. The center hub and ring gear are centered before welding and balanced to insure smooth, long lasting operation. This part is guaranteed with a 12 month warranty that we hold up ourselves so you don't have to deal with the factory. The pinion nut tool included with this item is required to remove the nut off the threaded pinion. It is very difficult to remove without this tool.
