This tool can read Engine data from your car and display it using a 3rd party app on to your Android Mobile phone. This OBD2 CodeReader diagnostic scan tool will communicate with you vehicle using the OBD2 protocol and transmit the data to your Android phone, Windows laptop, and desktop wireless over Bluetooth. The device is in compliance with the OBDII protocol and works with vehicles manufactured for the US, built in 1996 and later. With this tool, you can now DIY easily troubleshoot that pesky "check engine" light in your car, clear the "check engine" light, get a live reading of your mile per gallon (MPG), and many interact with the various sensors in the car. Also the clear color of the device will make it transparent in your car. The LED lights on the tool will provide you with the current status of the tool (i.e. Connected to vehicle, connected to phone, power On/Off). The mini CD (3.5" diameter) that comes with the tool include software for Windows PC. Software for Android mobile phone such as Torque (Demo) are available for free to download at the Android Marketplace. Unfortunately, the scan tool currently does NOT come with software that are compatible with Apple products such as the iPhone/iPad.
