MILES DEXRON@ III / MERCON@ FLUID is a premium quality, multi-purpose automatic transmission fluid specially formulated for new generation, electronically controlled transmissions. This fluid may also be used in previous transmissions built by General Motors, Chrysler, Ford (except where type "F" is required) and most foreign manufacturers. MILES DEXRON@ III / MERCON@; FLUID meets and exceeds the requirements of DEXRON@ IIE, DEXRON@ II,DEXRON@,DEXRON@/MERCON@ and TYPE A suffix transmission fluids. This fluid is also formulated to exceed the performance requirements of Allison Transmission Division C-4, and various hydraulic manufactures' antiwear hydraulic fluid specifications. FEATURES AND BENEFITS MILES DEXRON@ III / MERCON@ FLUID can be used for virtually all automatic transmission applications, resulting in appreciable savings. This formulation provides for superior cold temperature performance, excellent wear protection and a wide range of seal compatibility. MILES DEXRON@ III / MERCON@ FLUID provides superior frictional characteristics and excellent friction retention resulting in smooth shifting. This fluid is fortified against rust and corrosion, and provides excellent oxidation resistance. Through the use of a non-foaming additive, this fluid meets all requirements for foam protection. MILES DEXRON@ III / MERCON@ FLUID is dyed red for easy identification.
