The aFe Stage 2 cold air intake is a highly engineered powder-coated heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the PRO DRY S performance air filter that features 3-layers of synthetic "oil-free" media. The PRO DRY S filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle-free installation. A one-piece powder-coated steel heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. Designed to bolt directly to the bottom half of the stock air box, the heat-shield incorporates the use of the factory RAM active air. A huge inverted cone 360 degree radial flow air filter is used for maximum filtration (99.2% efficient) and convenience (requires no oils to clean). The PRO DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of synthetic "oil-free" media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Rotomolded intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). The tube connects to the stock intake elbow for added convenience and quicker installation. aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations minimizing the use of unnecessary hardware.
