The oil free air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. This one-piece heat shield incorporates the factory air inlet scoop and mounting locations for a hassle-free installation. The intake housing was engineered to fit the MAF sensor perfectly, without the use of an adaptor. This eliminates hardware, which allows for a simple, quick installation. A large mandrel-bent intake tube is used to smoothly direct the increased air flow into the engine for maximum performance. This product is not currently CARB exempt and is not available for sale in California or for use on any vehicle registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicle.
