This Stage 2 Sealed cold air intake produces 10hp, 15lbs. x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 34%. Fully enclosed in a heat-shielding molded plastic housing; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. The housing features auxiliary inlet duct for better airflow as well as an attractive black aluminum cover that provides ready access to the filter for servicing. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Fully Sealed Design _ aFe engineers have designed a very sophisticated 2-piece sealed intake housing that keeps out warm underhood air and brings in cooler, outside air for a denser intake charge. A 5-1/2" 360 degree conical Pro 5R performance air filters for maximum flow. This 5-layer progressive, oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. The intake tube is designed to maximize air velocity and is dyno tested and flowed using the latest engineering tools for maximum performance, mileage and throttle response. To add a touch of style to your 4Runner or FJ Cruiser, the engineers at aFe Power have added a black anodized brushed aluminum top with aFe urocal. aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.
