W6AR calipers were designed for the specific purpose of providing big capacity braking with large diameter rotors, for extreme duty vehicles. These are Wilwood's biggest and best calipers, providing big brake performance for street and track vehicles. This kits is fully compatible with OE master cylinder output and ABS function.

W6A Calipers:

The W6A 6-Piston caliper is engineered for superior clamping efficiency and ultimate strength against fatigue, stresses, and distortion under load. The performance of the W6A is enhanced with SRS bridge plates and snap-ring locked pad retainer pins. SRS plates eliminate all bridge wear caused by pad gouging and extend the service life of the caliper. The spring-loaded action of the SRS plates also eliminates pad rattle & vibrations that cause pad squeal.

Rotors:

Wilwood's GT 72 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are manufactured from iron alloy developed to withstand extremes with the highest possible degree of resistance against, warping, cracking, and wear. These rotors provide the highest cooling capacity and longest service life for extreme braking short tracks and road course competition.

BP-20 Brake Pads:

Medium friction, highest effective temperarture range in medium temperature pad group. Smooth engagement, torque curve increases in relation to temperature, Moderate wear rate at high temperature, Beds quickly and provides fast response without high rotor abrasion, Baseline pad for track oriented street cars. High performance street compound with increased friction and a wider temperature range over BP-10.
