The Pulsar X1 Rotors are engineered to maximize your vehicle's braking system by simply replacing the original stock rotors with the performance improving "Pulsar X1" rotors. No other modifications or expensive conversions are needed. This bolt on improvement not only saves time and money, but will greatly improve the braking and looks of your vehicle.

This is how it works. SP Performance starts by using only the best quality rotors that exceed OE specifications. Each rotor is then studied and analyzed to insure that surface quality, vent design, and finished surfaces meet our strict standards. The specific design is then utilized with a computer design program specifically for the application. Next, the rotors are precisely machined using CNC machines to make sure that the highest consistent quality can be achieved.

The Star pattern is then slotted to the rotors minimal thickness. This keeps the rotor structurally stronger while helping to dissipate more heat. The Slots optimize air circulation, and expels water in wet weather conditions all while increasing brake pad bite.

The Mini-Slots create a pocket in the rotor's surface which dampens expanding gases that push the pads away from the rotor. With each rotor rotation, the slots wipe the surface of the pad clean while venting brake pad gases, which build up and cause the brakes to fade.
