This dual-point mounting, one-piece brackets mount the alternator on the driver's side of the engine and positions it outside of the driver's side valve cover, and mount the AC compressor on the passenger side of the engine and positions it outside of the passenger side valve cover > You can see where they mount the alternator and AC compressor in the pictures and diagram shown
This bracket is for use with: > Small Block Chevy standard heads SBC Long water pumps GM 10SI or 12SI alternators > These alternators were popular on numerous GM vehicles from 1962-1994 They have a 2 bolt mounting pattern (one at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock) that measure 168mm (or 6.61") center-to-center; see the diagram in the images
