This is a replacement 3 button keyless entry remote key combo for Ford and Lincoln vehicles. You will be able to program the remote portion of this unit yourself as long as you have one working key currently. You will be able to program the key portion yourself only if you currently have two factory working keys, otherwise a trip to a dealership or an automotive locksmith will be required for programming. The key must be cut prior to programming, but the remote can be programmed prior to cutting. Programming is a 2 step procedure. The remote is a replacement remote, not an original one, but will look and function just like an original one would.
