The DemonTail tail light and marker light modulator is a 100% solid state device that designed to be connected in series with one or more 12 volt incandescent bulbs. It controls current to the bulbs to draw greater attention to the illumination of the bulb. DemonTail is not a common flasher. It generates 300 pulses per minute, with an 85% duty cycle, not the simple on / off flashing generated by common flashers. The DemonTail modulator is ideal for motorcycle tail-light applications, but it can also be used to enhance marker light conspicuity. It should not be used for headlight applications. See the DemonHead and DemonEye products for headlight applications. The DemonTail is exceptionally small and easy to install. The 2 terminal unit is connected in series with the power line that feeds one or more bulbs. No additional wires or connections are necessary. One DemonTail modulator can conservatively drive two standard #1156 or #1157 automotive bulbs. IMPORTANT: Reverse polarity connections will destroy the DemonBrake module. Check the wiring carefully before applying power. Note: DemonTail can be installed in any incandescent 12V lamp circuit. Although the Tail Light filament is normally selected, any rear-facing red lamp can be used.
