The OTB_POL-TPS-09-P repair harness is intended to repair and upgrade the common problem of broken throttle position sensor wires on 2009 -Up 500, 550XP, 850XP, and 2011-Up 800 Sportsman and Ranger ATV's. The problem with the current Polaris wiring is that it is too short and the mounting location of the sensor is in a very bad location where vibration is prevalent. This combination causes the wires to fail where they enter the connector after a short period of time. The product you are installing not only lengthens the wire but the wires used in this product are vibration resistant wires that have more strands and a thick insulation to help support the wire.
