This Chevy SM465 4 speed transmission rebuild kit is a complete rebuild kit with synchro rings. This SM465 transmission uses an iron case with an aluminum top cover. This transmission uses the TM211 or 211FFLE input bearing that is .083 inches (21 millimeter) thick. If you have a thinner bearing, you will need my other SM465 rebuild kit. It is very important that you measure your input bearing! Do not rely on the year of your transmission as there are exceptions. This kit includes all the bearings, synchro rings, seals, gaskets, complete small parts kit (That includes snap rings, thrust washers, needle bearings, etc.)
