This Chevy SM465 4 speed transmission rebuild kit is a complete rebuild kit. This SM465 transmission uses an iron case and a cast iron top cover. This kit uses the N1211L, B55-59 or 211MG1 input bearing that is 0.68 inches (17.28 millimeter) thick. If you have a thicker bearing, you will need my other SM465 rebuild kit. It is very important that you measure your input bearing! Do not rely on the year of your transmission as there are exceptions. This kit includes all the bearings, seals, gaskets, complete small parts kit (That includes snap rings, thrust washers, needle bearings, etc.)
