Mac's Pro Pack 40 is our top of the line pack for the discerning vehicle owner concerned with finish protection who might want to connect through the wheels instead of crawling underneath. Each Ratchet Strap features Mac's new smooth-acting "EZ-Release" ratchet, a working range of 2 to 7 feet, and a 10,000 pounds minimum breaking strength rating (3,335 pounds working load limit). Through-the-Wheel Straps, like axle straps, allow you to tie down around suspension components even where there is as little as 3.25 inch x 0.5 inch clearance, but at 40 inch long they are also long enough to pass through many wheels. The wheel must have enough room to pass the strap through a wheel opening (minimum 3.25 inch), for the webbing to lay flat against the rim, and be narrow enough for the axle strap ends to touch. Most tires up to 14 inch wide can be accommodated. Mac's Through-the-Wheel Straps feature thick, full-length protective sleeves to prevent damage to the webbing. Protective sleeve is captive and can't slide out of place during use. In addition to the highest quality Ratchet and Through-the-Wheel Straps, this pack features removable, washable, padded Fleece Sleeves to protect vehicle surfaces in contact with the Through-the-Wheel Straps. Be sure to clean off debris such as abrasive brake dust before installing your straps to keep your vehicle's finish looking perfect. Mac's Pro Pack 40 also includes a sturdy Duffle Bag big enough to hold all of your straps. The four included Strap Wraps help to keep your straps organized in the bag and on the trailer.
