For cars with longer trailing arms than OEM. The i/2" or 3/4" aftermarket arms do center the read wheels making the car look better. In doing so the drive shaft is pulled out of the transmission by 1/2" or 3/4" causing an annoying vibration. This aluminum shaft is larger a diameter than the OEM shaft providing greater stability at high RPMs.
