The Q16 5th wheel by Curt is packed with features and benefits. The 'Q' stands for quiet; Curt is proud to offer the quietest 5th wheel hitches on the market today. The 5th wheel designed with high-strength Inchterlocking jaws on the head that wrap around the trailer's kingpin, which eliminates clanking. Cast yolk, with poly-torsion Inchserts work to further suppress shock loads and reduce sound. The Q16's head is fully articulating, making for a controlled coupling. The extra wide head opening and three-position coupling Inchdicator are designed for a hassle-free experience. The easy-grasp locking handle resets automatically when the trailer is un-coupled. This feature allows the customer to re-couple without having to exit the tow vehicle to manually reset the hitch. The Q16 has an impressive gross trailer capacity of 16,000 lb.. and a vertical load capacity of up to 4,000 lb.., but remember to never exceed your vehicle's maximum gross weight rating.
