NYPPD Top Mount Intercooler: Subaru Impreza WRX & STI 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007

Utilizing the largest bar and plate core possible,the NYPPD Top Mount Intercooler is over twice the volume of the stock TMIC. The larger volume reduces pressure drop across the intercooler while the bar and plate core design improves the cooling efficiency.

Comes complete with replacement Y pipe and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. Please note: the kit is now shipped with blue hoses.

This core is designed specifically for the Subaru Impreza, this is not an off the shelf core. The end tanks are hand built and hand ported for maximum flow, fit and finish. Unlike the competitors intercooler these require no modifications to the a/c line that run behind the intercooler. The intercooler also uses studs to mount the blow off valve instead of bolts; this means no stripping out the holes when over tightened. This intercooler has been designed for maximum performance.
