Carnauba is too hard to apply directly to a car, so it must be blended with other ingredients. Once applied to a car's paint, the carnauba car wax repels water and consequently, most contaminants. Just like carnauba's protection of the Brazilian palm tree, carnauba protects your vehicle from UV rays, heat, moisture, oxidation, and environmental contamination.
