The problem is when you install aftermarket HID lights alone. In many cases, the lights will flicker or prematuraly fail.

This is because stock vehicles are designed for high wattage Halogens. When you install low wattage HID's, your vehicle's electrionics will continuously try to light the bulb, thinking that it isn't there.

But when you install HID's with a relay harness, you connect your HID's directly to your battery instead of the vehicle electronics.

This eliminates the issue and ensures a long lasting, reliable HID bulb that shines strong for years
