Pyroil Power Steering Fluid with Stop Leak is made of specially formulated lubricants and additives that help prevent leakage and eliminate squealing under severe conditions. Rubber seals and O-rings contain plasticizers which make seals soft and pliable. However, over time, hot oil removes the plasticizers causing seals and O-rings to shrink, harden and become brittle which can cause power steering fluid to seep and leak from the power steering system. Pyroil Power Steering with Stop Leak revitalizes seals and O-rings by returning them to their original size. Unlike some seal swellers, it does not make seals weak and spongy by continuing to swell seals beyond their original size.
