Rear outboard shock tower kit is an easy way to install rear long travel shocks or coilovers on the rear of your Jeep CJ, YJ, TJ, Bronco, or Toyota.Mounts are designed to be frenched into the frame to allow for adequate clearance with tires, and for maximum shock dampening control. Allows you to run long travel shocks without cutting holes through the inner fender wells.Can be used with the axle in its stock location or stretched wheelbase. Rear outboard shock towers are a one-size fits all application. They can easily be trimmed down to fit from an 8" to 16" travel shock or coilover.Kit is made from laser cut and CNC bent 3/16" and 1/4" thick HRP&O, USA-made steel.Shock towers measure about 16" from the bottom of the tower to the center of the mounting hole.Kit includes one pair of shock towers, two lower shock mounts, four heavy-duty shock tower gussets, and grade 8 mounting hardware with lock nuts.Will require welding and fabrication skills to install.
