When boosting the horsepower on the Yamaha SHO four stroke fuel injected engine whether using high compression pistons cams or higher ratio supercharger compressor wheels it will be necessary to increase the fuel flow delivery. The OEM Yamaha SHO injectors have been precision flow rate tested to be 80 percent peaked on stock units at sea level without modifications. The R&D High Performance Fuel Injectors have been precision flow rate tested to 525cc at 43 PSI of fuel pressure and 625cc at 70 PSI of fuel pressure which rates them to flow as much as 62 pounds of fuel per hour.
