Extang's exclusive SpeedKlamps provide instant access to the truck bed or to quickly convert Solid Fold to its folded open position to haul cargo. SpeedKlamps are made from fiberglass filled nylon for the ultimate in strength and operate with spring-action technology for easy fastening and release. The clamps conveniently stow away within the frame when not in use. The cab section secures by simply hand tightening the threaded clamp with built-in heavy-duty "T" handle. Solid Fold is ultra strong, yet lightweight. Entire tonneau weighs approximately 50 pounds for a 6.5' bed. Aircraft grade aluminum panels and 1" thick, alloy frame construction for incredible strength. Aluminum front hinge and hyper-extending tail hinge design provides ultimate strength, water resistance and superior performance. Sporty black textured poly-tex paint finish protects against harmful rays and fading. The frame is sealed with OEM style foam seals like that found in the door jamb of the truck ensuring that every opening/closing of your cover provides a perfect seal on the truck bed.
