In this listing is a set of 2014 design Trims4Rims lightweight alloy wheel rim protectors. Trims4Rims are available in 9 colours: Red, Blue, Silver, Black, Yellow, Pink, White, Orange & Lime Green. This new 2014 design are the lightest weight rim protection product we sell. With a wall thickness of just 0.6mm and a 0.8mm double sided foam tape manufactured by tesa in Germany for an overall width of just 1.4mm. The tape is very sticky when applied at the correct temperature, so no primers are required, however we do include a tesa IPA cleaning wipe for each wheel. Although very thin, the Trims4Rims profile is made from a tough flexible plastic with rubber mixed in to give them some flexibility. They are tough, durable and easy to wipe clean. Trims4Rims require a flat or curbed mounting surface, but will not fit lipped wheels or those with raised spokes. Trims4Rims are provided as 4 coiled lengths in compact packaging measuring 12 x 12 x 4cm and will fit up to 22" wheels . They are simply cut to the size of your wheels whilst fitting. All you need to fit them is a pair of scissors and a pencil to mark where you need to cut. Simply wash and dry your wheels, clean with wipes provided, peel, stick and cut to size. In colder weather you will need to warm the tape and your wheels with warm air. A hot air gun is best, but a hairdryer works just as well. You can fit a set in 30 minutes easily, but we recommend you take your time to get good alignment. The Problem Alloy Wheel damage is a problem we all share. As cars are developed, looks and style are now more important than ever in order to promote the sales of new vehicles. Many manufactures now offer new cars with great looking wheels and the range of aftermarket wheels in ever increasing sizes is a non stop growth industry. There is no denying that a good looking set of large diameter wheels make the exterior look of the vehicle far more desirable but this undoubtedly gives the modern driver a problem.
