STEERING DAMPERS Oil in the damper is kept under pressure to avoid free play. Three different systems give you smooth damping in all conditions. Base damping gives 18 adjustable settings (clicks) for maximum tunability and control. Dampers mount across upper triple clamp, unless noted in chart. ï¿½hlins steering damper kits for specific bike models come with all necessary mounting hardware. Suzuki GSX-R and Hayabusa steering dampers include an integrated resistor to the motorcycle's warning light so the light will not come on when the damper is replaced - resistor plugs directly in to the OEM wiring harness.
