Snow Huggers are super-strong textile socks which you pull over the driving wheels to provide the grip you need on ice and snow. They're reusable, take up minimal storage space, and in many circumstances work better than winter tires or snow chains. Be prepared for the winter by carrying a set of Snow Huggers in your car, happy in the knowledge that: fitting them is easy. If you can pull a sock over your foot you can pull a fabric cover over a wheel. fitting them requires no practice. they weigh less than 1kg and take up minimal space. It's sensible to keep them with the spare wheel, always ready for use. they are relatively universal, i.e. one size fits over 60% of cars. they're reusable again and again - providing value for money for years to come The special surface shape, together with the high deformability of the textile used for the tread cover, lets you obtain: A significant increase in the total contact area with snow or ice, owing to both the special textile construction and the use of multi-filament thread, with a consequent increase in the coefficient of friction between the wheel and the snowy or icy surface. The penetration of the relief molding, caused by the localized fusion of the snow or ice made by the increase in pressure contact in correspondence with the textile knots, which give the SnowHuggers its exclusive "grip". A higher adherence between the inside surface of the textile and the tire, so as to avoid any slippage between sheath and wheel. The limitation of wear on the raised part of the molding, thus conserving the underlying thread from direct contact with asphalt when driving on non-snowy roads. Maintenance of a good workability even in cases of small flaws, thanks to the "run-proof" quality of the textile.
