This kit is an add-on remote start system for vehicle with existing remote keyless entry system. The system will use your factory remotes to start the vehicle.

One important note about using 'add-on' remote starts in Toyotas: The factory remote controls in your car do not work when the car is running - that's the way Toyota engineered the car. This means that if you're using a remote start that works from your OEM remotes, you'll be able to start the car just fine, but you will NOT be able to unlock the doors with the factory remote control. This package is a complete add-on remote starter kit for your Toyota. We also include a vehicle-specific wiring chart that shows the color and location of all the wires in the car you'll need to connect to. *Just include the year of your car with your checkout info and we'll send the chart for that specific year. The remote start and interface module both come with installation manuals, but we've prepared a special step-by-step installation sheet that walks you through the entire installation.
