Amsteel Blue synthetic rope is lighter and easier to handle than traditional wire rope. Coated with a UV resistant urethane and equipped with a temperature resistant heat sleeve on the first layer and a ballistic nylon removable Rock Guard, this winch line provides extreme protection against wear and abrasion. The 5/16? diameter winch line is ideal for winches with 8,000 pounds or less pulling power. The heavy duty gusset tube thimble will not crush under load and offers the best protection for the winch line eye. Please note this rope must be used with either a polished aluminum hawse fairlead or a brand new roller fairlead to prevent damage to the rope.
