ROTORS: 1 piece iron vented & cross drilled for superior cooling in high performance driving conditions. Thermal mass & cooling efficiency eliminates brake fade. Rotors are cross drilled. Slotted only or cross drilled & slotted are available. Using this kit in competition? We recommend: slotted only or plain. Plain rotors - no extra charge. CALIPERS: Forged aluminum Wilwood 4 piston fixed mount calipers help reduce unsprung weight. Forging process allows for strong rigid design without excess material; light (4.5 lbs compared to stock iron calipers that are 9 to 12 lbs ea.) These calipers are perfect for street, strip or circuit. Race Proven Parts. PADS: High performance street compound pads. Competition driver? Remember that Wilwood makes 8 different pad compounds to suit every driving need & many other friction companies provide plenty of compounds as well. Many pad options for these calipers. MOUNTING HARDWARE: Adapters are heavy duty steel, powder coated for corrosion resistance & appearance. All hardware grade 8, 10.9 or better incl. flat washers. Adapters designed to be light weight & safe. Our "Ten-x Adapters" design philosophy means adapters designed to withstand 10 times the maximum brake torque capability of the BBK. In 20 years of brake system design & manufacture, we have never had a single adapter failure. FLEX HOSES: Stainless steel braided Teflon hoses w/ separate hose mounting hardware.
