This Stage 2 air Intake system produces an impressive 25 horsepower and 30 pound x feet torque. This system uses a massive 5-1/2 inch washable or reusable air filter which connects to a durable 16-gauge heat shield that mounts quickly to the factory air box increasing airflow over the stock air intake system. A 3-angle filter adapter increases air velocity after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. The heat-insulating black powder-coated intake tube uses a split tube design that allows the twin turbo to equally share the increased air flow using a mitered transition. This design decreases turbulence and increases velocity resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Manifold Air Pressure Sensor: In 2012 Ford began using a different Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor. This intake is designed specifically to be used with the factory MAP sensor. 5-1/2 inch conical filter with inverted top: This intake utilizes a huge, 5-1/2 inch oval conical Pro DRY S performance air filter with inverted top for maximum flow. This 3-layer progressive, synthetic material air filter requires no oils and cleans with soap and water for maximum convenience. Top mounted heat shield design: aFe developed this heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations. 3-Angle adaptor: The 3-angle adaptor is used to speed up the air flow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. Note: This intake fits the 2012-2014 models only. It does not fit the 2011.
