Replaces most Mercruiser sterndrives
This upper unit has a short yoke (8 1/8") on the upper driveshaft. We refer to this as the "Old Style". This applies to most inline 4-cylinder and inline 6-cylinder engines.
These complete drives ship in two pieces and do not come with any installation hardware or the gasket set.
Replaces OE#: 01983010

Replaces most Mercruiser sterndrives from 1967-1990. This applies to all inline 4-cylinder and inline 6-cylinder engines up to and including the year 1982. All of our replacement sterndrives come with a three year fault-free warranty and are rated up to 300 HP. Our drives are manufactured in Oldsmar, FL, built up to OEM specifications and they are an affordable, high quality alternative.
