The motorcycle LiFePO4 battery BCTX5L-FP-S can replace the following lead-acid batteries: YTX4L-BS - YTX5L-BS - YTZ5S. BC LITHIUM BATTERIES are ultralight (up to 80% lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries) and they ensure a better performance and a higher cranking current (up to 50 times the battery capacity). They are particularly convenient for racing use. Lithium batteries last longer (around 2000 charge/discharge cycles) and they can be recharged fast. BC LITHIUM BATTERIES are safe and environmental-friendly: no acids or heavy metals included (lead, cadmium, mercury), non-flammable and non-explosive. When the battery is not installed on the vehicle, it can retain the charge for a long time, thanks to its minimal self-discharge rate. When the battery is on board, we recommend a regular maintenance with a specific charger (for example BC DUETTO).
